West Lothian Photo Contest November 2009
We are holding an event as part of West Lothian’s Diversity Week, which celebrates what West Lothian means to all communities. We are planning a photography competition based on the theme of “what West Lothian means to me” and are looking for entries.
Description / Theme: What West Lothian means to me
Entry Fee: Free
Prize: £25 Jessop Voucher
Eligibility: Anyone living in West Lothian As part of West Lothian’s Diversity week we are looking for people of all nationalities living in West Lothian to enter a photograph. This is very much open to your interpretation, and we would like you to let us know why your choice means West Lothian to you. Good luck to you all, and enjoy yourselves!
Closing Date: 23 November 2009
Application: Please hand in or post photographs for the attention of Kate Robb at the Council Information Services, Strathbrock Partnership Centre, 189a West Main Street, Broxburn Photographs can be black and white or colour and must be mounted in card. Photographs must be no larger than A4 size. Please put your name, address and photography club on the back of your photo. We will return all photos to your photography club.
Copyright ownership: The photographer must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of photos entered in to the competition. The copyright remains with the photographer, although by entering the competition you authorise West Lothian Council a non exclusive royalty free usage of your photo in the promotion and use of this competition for a maximum period of 3 years with credit to the photographer. If at all possible, it would be great if this could be circulated to your members. Photographs will be on display on Tuesday 24th November between 4 and 7pm at Strathbrock Partnership Centre, 189a West Main Street, Broxburn.
