15/10/2008 – Our first battle of the new season and the first digital image competition was a well fought battle. However the lead built by Kilmacolm was difficult to pull back from. The Judge for the evening was John Coyle.
04/02/2009 – The second battle unfortunately saw Armadale once again being defeated, this time at the hands of Queens Park Camera Club. It was a close battle but unfortunately QPCC were the best on the night. The judge for the evening was Charlie Moore.
11/02/2009 – Our thid battle once again saw Armadale being defeated. It was neck and neck for the first 30 images, however Gryffe pipped us at the post. 3 out of 3 for Gryffe – very well done. The judge for the evening was Inglis Lamont who took an alternative approach of actually trying out his recommendations on the images. I thought this was a very good approach to judging and I sincerley hope more judges can do the same.
Unfortunately Armadale will not qualify for the final this year.
